Personalised orders
A personalised piece is made once, for you, and there is no second buyer for it. It takes as long to make as anything else here, but it cannot simply be sent back.
What counts as personalised?
Anything we make from what you supply or to a spec you choose: your own photo or your own text on a piece, or a piece cut to dimensions you asked for. You can start one in make your own.
How long does a personalised order take?
2 to 4 working days in the atelier, the same as everything else we make, plus the time your carrier needs: 1 to 2 working days inside Belgium, 3 to 6 to the rest of Europe.
Can I send a personalised piece back?
Only in the case of a demonstrable manufacturing defect. The 14 day withdrawal right that covers the rest of the shop does not apply to products made to your own name, logo, photo or measurements.
What happens to the photo I upload?
We use it to make your order, nothing else. We never sell your data, and we keep what you send us for as long as the order needs it; an uploaded photo is in any case deleted automatically 180 days after upload. The full story is in our privacy policy.
How it is made
We print your design straight onto the material and cut it in the atelier. A gift box is linden wood with a 3D printed lid, and the magnets that go in it are 2mm linden wood with a 10mm neodymium magnet on the back.
Wood reacts to moisture, temperature and light, so colour, grain and finish vary a little from piece to piece. Those differences are the material doing what wood does, not a manufacturing fault.
Returns on a personalised piece
Personalised and made-to-order products cannot be returned, unless there is a manufacturing defect we can see. If an item arrives damaged or defective, mail us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the problem and we will sort it out. Everything else about returns is on the shipping and returns page.
What we use your design for
Your photo or file is used to make your order and for nothing else. We do not sell your data to third parties, and we only share what our partners need to deliver the order, such as the shipping partner who brings the parcel to your door.
